All icons were designed to remove the need for text language variations within the touch screen environment. Strict colour depth and graphic size requirements had to be met, in order to accommodate the memory restrictions of the touch screen module. Our experience in user interface design helped Design Method to quickly understand the requirements and design an effective eikon scheme for the product range.
In excess of 150 icons were designed across the oven range. The same design language was maintained throughout the easyToUCH interface with direct correlation to the user interface for Merrychef's MenuConnect software. 

The touch screen interface has been well received by both existing and new Merrychef customers. The ease of use of the new product range has helped Merrychef win awards in many countries for the eikon range.

In addition to the eikon range the same easyToUCH module was chosen for use in the Manitowoc Multiplex blend in cup drink station. Design Method helped produce graphics and iconography for the Multiplex user interface.
