eikon Accelerated Cooking
Merrychef, the worlds leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of accelerated cooking systems wanted to create marketing images for their new "eikon" range of ovens. Design Method were tasked with producing images of the ovens before prototypes had been manufactrued. Working closely with the Merrychef's new product development team, a range of images were rendered depicting both the exsiting range of ovens and the new range.
The images produced were used internally at merrychef for presentations to key stakeholders in the company. Also images were produced that allowed the sales and marketing teams to gain early customer feedback on the oven designs.
The images created for Merrychef proved so successful that additional renderings of the final oven designs were commissioned prior to the launch of the new range in February 2010.
All images were rendered from a combination of Merrychef CAD data and Design Methods photorealistic material library and HDRi lighting setups.
