Manitowoc easyToUCH
Design Method were asked to help rework an existing Convotherm easyToUCH interface for use on the eikon range of microwave
ovens. The use of a completely new touch screen module meant all existing iconography and graphics had to be developed into a
new set of user interface icons. In addition the added complexity of operating the eikon ovens required the development of a new
range of application specific icons.
IR Swift Soundfield
The Connevans IR Swift is a Soundfield system for use in classrooms. The system enables all stuents in a classroom to hear the teacher’s voice equally well, wherever they are seated and in whichever direction the teacher is facing.
eikon Accelerated Cooking
Merrychef, the worlds leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of accelerated cooking systems wanted to create marketing images for their new "eikon" range of ovens. Design Method were tasked with producing images of the ovens before prototypes had been manufactrued. Working closely with the Merrychef's new product development team, a range of images were rendered depicting both the exsiting range of ovens and the new range.
Reverse engineering a Storz cystoscope tip
Design Method were asked to reverse engineer the tip of a Storz cystoscope as part of a medical project. The tip is only 5mm in diameter and includes some complex geometry.
wdi Wireless Hearing Aid System
Working closely with the in-house electronics team at Connevans their wireless hearing aid system was developed from concept to production.
